I am seriously fucking shaking I’m so terrified.
This bill, passed late last night in a 93-7 vote, declares the entire USA to be a ”battleground” upon which U.S. military forces can operate with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus and granting the military the unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate U.S. citizens with impunity.
Even WIRED magazine was outraged at this bill, reporting:
Senate Wants the Military to Lock You Up Without Trial
…the detention mandate to use indefinite military detention in terrorism cases isn’t limited to foreigners. It’s confusing, because two different sections of the bill seem to contradict each other, but in the judgment of the University of Texas’ Robert Chesney — a nonpartisan authority on military detention — “U.S. citizens are included in the grant of detention authority.” SourceFucking speechless.
If it’s a battleground, we might as well fight back.

I’m kind of annoyed with all these people talking like this will affect everyone equally. And using the use of the word you, like every you is the same reading this article. It will not affect a white YOU the same way as a brown or black YOU. This law will likely target and single in on Middle Eastern and South East Asian people who practice Islam first and foremost and then likely Africans from countries with Muslim ties, Latinos without documentation seen as “terrorists” of another kind and then radical blacks with opinions completely contrary to united states interests. Whites will always be the last to be viewed as terrorists, therefor the majority of this country is in part, likely way more safe than the minority.

as soon as I heard about this my thought went out to those american born/citizens of middle eastern descent, but then thought ‘oh, hey, they’ll go after illegals as well’
and most every other white person thought about the occupy movement and how all the (white) kids there will get arrested
